The Rotor Wing Pilot position based in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, is an exciting and vital role within Air Methods’ operations. The pilot will fly the EC135 Air Medical Aircraft under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) to safely transport medical crews and patients to designated hospitals within a defined operational area. This role requires adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM), and internal company policies and procedures. The pilot will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of the aircraft and attending to detailed pre-flight inspections and flight planning.                 - Must maintain weight not to exceed 250 pounds and be less than 70 years old
 - 2000 total flight hours with minimum of 1500 flight hours in category
 - 1000 hours PIC in category
 - 500 hours of rotor wing turbine time
 - 200 hours of cross-country flight time, including at least 50 hours at night
 - 100 hours unaided night as PIC (50 hours can be substituted by 100 hours NVG time but not below 50 hours unaided)
 - 50 hours total actual or hood instrument time in flight and in category (simulator time does not count)
 - Commercial and instrument rating for category and class of aircraft
 - ATP rating in category meets the requirement
 - First or Second Class FAA Medical certificate required
 - Regular scheduled attendance
 - Subject to drug and/or alcohol testing per DOT/FAA requirements
 - Compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, Aeronautical Information Manual, and company policies
