We are currently seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Public Areas Attendant to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and service quality across all public spaces within the resort. This role is integral in maintaining a welcoming, pristine environment in areas such as locker rooms, fitness centers, tennis pro shops, pool decks, executive offices, restrooms, and lobbies. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the overall guest satisfaction by ensuring these spaces meet Omni’s strict standards of cleanliness and organization at all times. This full-time position is part of Omni’s commitment to providing a workplace where associates feel valued, motivated, and part of a collaborative team.
The position requires working closely with other staff members to maintain operational efficiency and a schedule that accommodates holidays, special programs, and events, which are important to the resort’s vibrant atmosphere. The Public Areas Attendant role includes tasks like cleaning and stocking towels, maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies, using janitorial and pool maintenance equipment, and engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Attention to detail and a proactive approach in recognizing and fulfilling facility needs are essential components of success in this role. Candidates should demonstrate physical stamina as the role involves standing for extended periods, moving and lifting supplies up to 50 pounds, and walking long distances within the resort.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience beneficial
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and special events
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have basic communication skills in English
- Must maintain a friendly, professional demeanor at all times
- Must be First Aid/CPR/AED certified or able to obtain certification within a reasonable period
- Ability to follow Omni Hotels & Resorts standards, rules, and procedures
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must be punctual and reliable
