The role of the Gulfstream G550 Captain is integral to the success of Solairus Aviation's mission. The Captain is responsible for the overall safe operation of the Gulfstream G550. The role requires active decision-making, situational awareness, and the ability to handle all flight operations prudently, including route planning, weather assessments, and the use of alternative airports if necessary.
Furthermore, the Captain is tasked with safeguarding the safety of passengers, crew, and aircraft at all times. This responsibility extends to the accurate and timely completion of all required trip paperwork, ensuring compliance with current procedures. This position requires flexibility, including the ability to work on an on-call basis and undertake annual ICAO International procedures training. The ideal candidate will have their primary residence within a two-hour drive from KOAK airport or be willing to relocate to the area to meet operational requirements effectively.
