The Guest Services Usher role within the Event Services department at ASM Global is a vital position responsible for enhancing patron experience during public and private events. Reporting to the Guest Services Supervisor or Event Manager, this non-exempt position calls for individuals who excel in customer service and can maintain a calm demeanor in fast-paced, high-energy environments typical of arenas or event venues. The primary function of the Guest Services Usher is to assist patrons with seating arrangements and provide timely information to ensure attendees enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience.
This position demands a collaborative team member who is attentive to their assigned area, ensuring that any issues such as spills or disruptive situations are promptly addressed to maintain safety and comfort. Ideal candidates are friendly, clear communicators, capable of handling conflicts with diplomacy and professionalism. Physical stamina is necessary as the role involves continuous standing and walking, including navigating stairs and various floor surfaces. The ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and weekdays depending on the show schedule, is essential.

                - Ability to navigate a variety of floor surfaces and areas, including continuous standing and walking, including up and down stairs

 - Ability to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to heights, elevators, darkened theatre, around crowds, loud noise, and flashing lights
