As a Guest Services Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and enhancing guest satisfaction through attentive and professional service. Your leadership will directly impact the guest experience, making you a key team member in the daily functioning of the property. In this role, you will supervise front desk operations during your assigned shifts, ensuring that check-in, check-out, guest requests, and the promotion of in-house activities are managed efficiently and effectively. You will be responsible for training associates and maintaining their expertise in the property management system, resort services, reservation processes, pricing, and current special promotions. Your role also includes planning, assigning, and directing front desk staff activities while fostering teamwork and maintaining high operational standards. A critical aspect of your job will be to maintain comprehensive knowledge of the resort features including services offered, hours of operation, room availability, amenities, typically scheduled activities, and daily arrivals and departures. This knowledge will enable you to answer guest inquiries accurately, address concerns promptly, and resolve problems efficiently. You will monitor the performance and appearance of front desk employees and ensure that staffing and scheduling align with productivity guidelines. Communication is key in this role, and you will be responsible for disseminating pertinent information through pre-shift logs, emails, and departmental meetings to guarantee that all team members are well-informed regarding their duties and any updates related to property management. Your ability to handle complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach will be instrumental in maintaining the resort’s reputation for superior guest service.   • Knowledge of reservations management systems such as DigiRez, ManageAmerica, RoomMaster desired
