Whether providing details about hospital amenities, local businesses, or entertainment options, the Concierge offers both complimentary and fee-based services aimed at ensuring comfort and convenience.
Specifically, the Guest Services Concierge acts as an ambassador of warmth and professionalism who makes initial impressions count by warmly welcoming guests, offering timely assistance, and maintaining a proactive approach to customer service. This role requires working weekends with flexibility to occasionally support other locations within the TriHealth network to meet operational requirements. The Concierge maintains a professional demeanor and collaborates closely with the Patient Experience manager to fulfill key responsibilities.
In addition to offering concierge services, the position involves acting as an on-call notary for internal clients, patients, and visitors. The Guest Services Concierge plays a significant role in TriHealth’s mission to serve by embodying the SERVE standards—welcoming all individuals with respect and courtesy, striving for excellence in service delivery, honoring diversity, valuing time and resources, and actively engaging with team members and customers. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle multiple requests with priority management and effective communication are critical to success in this role.
Guest Services Concierges frequently engage in continuous learning and participate in various councils and committees to promote service improvement initiatives. Required certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), alongside a clear, professional appearance and computer literacy. The role includes responsibilities such as bending, standing, walking often, and occasional lifting, reflecting an active and dynamic work environment.
