This particular role at Greystar involves ensuring the physical upkeep and aesthetic standards of a midrise residential community currently in its lease-up stage with 365 units. The position is crafted to uphold the property's curb appeal by maintaining grounds and amenities, and providing essential support to the service team. Operating on a Monday through Friday schedule with an additional rotating on-call responsibility, this role plays a crucial role in making sure the community looks well-maintained and inviting at all times. Responsibilities extend beyond simple maintenance, including routine inspections, litter and debris removal, assistance with vacant apartment preparations, minor service tasks, lock changes, gate security, resident communication, and hazard reporting. The incumbent must also strictly adhere to safety and risk management practices, attend routine safety meetings, and be proactive in reporting any incidents accurately. The role requires performing physical duties in all weather conditions and includes responsibilities such as moving trash, bending, climbing ladders, and carrying weights up to 25 pounds independently or 50 pounds with assistance. A valid driver's license for operating golf carts on the property is necessary to fulfill the job requirements. Compensation for this hourly position ranges from $16.00 to $18.00, with pay determined by factors including business requirements, the candidate's previous experience, skill level, and geographic location.
