This job opportunity is for a Garden Property Maintenance role during the Lease-Up stage at a community consisting of 384 units. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday and plays an essential part in maintaining the physical condition of the community. The Property Maintenance professional is responsible for upholding the aesthetics and safety of the grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring the overall curb appeal matches Greystar’s high standards. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to support the service team effectively.
Key responsibilities include daily inspections to remove litter, debris, and pet waste from the community, ensuring all common areas and amenities are clean and inviting. The role involves clearing trash from vacant apartments prior to make-ready preparation, maintaining storage areas, and assisting with minor service requests and turnover processes. Responsibilities also include changing locks per property policy, ensuring pool gates comply with safety standards, distributing communications to residents, and promptly reporting hazards to supervisors.
A commitment to superior customer service is vital as the position involves interacting with residents, responding to inquiries, and addressing maintenance-related concerns sensitively and respectfully. The role requires compliance with all safety and risk-management policies, including participation in routine safety meetings and training on OSHA and other relevant safety standards.
Candidates for this position must possess a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property. The hourly pay range for the role is $15.00 to $17.00, influenced by experience, skills, and geographic location. Additional compensation opportunities include eligibility for weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonuses.
