The Full-Time Groundskeeper/Cleaning Professional position in Everett, WA is a critical role within the HNN Communities team. This role focuses on maintaining the physical aspects of the community to meet and exceed company standards, ensuring that grounds, amenities, common areas, and curb appeal are always pristine. The individual in this role plays a vital part in supporting the maintenance team while directly contributing to a positive living environment for residents. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $21 to $24 and operates on a schedule from Wednesday to Sunday, 9am to 6pm. The Groundskeeper is responsible for daily community ground inspections, trash and debris removal, and maintaining cleanliness at pet waste stations and around waste disposal areas. Additional responsibilities include ensuring exterior walkways and lighting are clean and operational, and maintaining cleanliness inside community buildings such as leasing offices, clubhouses, and restrooms. Part of the duties also involves preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents and keeping model units in market-ready condition through thorough cleaning and freshening. The role requires supplemental landscape maintenance like pressure washing, irrigation repairs, and lawn watering, with more extensive landscaping tasks like mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and planting when necessary. The Groundskeeper also supports apartment make-ready processes, snow and ice removal, resident event participation, and ensures company equipment is properly maintained and secured. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and excellent customer service are essential components of success in this position.
