We are currently seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our maintenance team. This full-time role is essential to the upkeep of the property’s interior and exterior environments, focusing primarily on cleanliness, minor repairs, and general maintenance duties. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the property's grounds including common areas, pool facilities, parking lots, and walkways to ensure they remain inviting and well-maintained at all times. This includes cleaning trash areas, maintaining pool areas and furniture, servicing lighting fixtures, and performing minor repairs to keep the property in top condition. Additionally, the role includes collaboration with the maintenance staff for handling work orders, moving furniture, unloading and storing supplies, and pressure washing duties. The position requires flexibility as it involves participating in the on-call rotation which may include evenings and weekends, ensuring that urgent maintenance needs can be promptly addressed. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing maintenance and cleanliness issues. Candidates with previous groundskeeper or porter experience will find the role familiar; however, training will be provided to those new to the field who possess a strong work ethic and the physical capacity to perform the job effectively. • High school education or equivalent
• Ability to work well with others and as part of a team
• Ability to take direction and work independently
• Previous groundskeeper or porter experience helpful but not required
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
• Knowledge of general maintenance, make-ready of unit duties (trash out, cleaning & painting), housekeeping and cleaning tasks
