This role, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of food preparation services. The primary responsibility involves preparing and directing the preparation of food items in compliance with strict sanitation and health regulations. The successful candidate will use established production procedures and systems to determine necessary food and supply quantities, manage their availability, and ensure timely and proper food production. This includes overseeing the storage, handling, and preparation of food to meet quality standards and reduce waste. The role requires close collaboration with the team, including training and supervising the Grill Assistant Manager and Grill employees to ensure adherence to safety standards and company protocols.
Attention to detail is critical in this job as it involves monitoring food safety practices, properly marking and storing food items, and requesting maintenance or equipment repairs as needed. Additionally, the position demands involvement in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within the workspace, conducting inspections, and adopting measures to prevent loss, waste, and fraud. The job also promotes active public relations skills, encouraging positive interactions with customers and fostering a customer service-oriented atmosphere.

- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- must be a minimum of 17 years of age
- prior experience in related food service positions required
- prior experience in supervising food preparation services preferred
- responsible for ensuring that safety processes are followed including universal precautions and safe work practice
- assist in correcting unsafe working conditions and requesting equipment repair and maintenance needs
