The position available is for a Global Trade Compliance Manager, located in Glen Allen, Virginia, reporting to the Product Management Director. This full-time, onsite role is integral to the Product Management/Marketing team and is designed for a professional eager to influence and optimize global import and export compliance processes. The successful candidate will contribute to trade strategy development, cost reduction initiatives, and compliance adherence across multiple markets, particularly the U.S. and Canada. The role demands expertise in customs regulations, classification, valuation, and international trade compliance, with a strong focus on mitigating risk and leveraging trade data for actionable business insights. The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $115,000 USD per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage and a 401(k) plan. Key daily responsibilities include developing and maintaining customs and export compliance policies, supporting import and export strategies to minimize costs and risks, managing duties and tariffs classification, ensuring adherence to sanctions and restricted party screening, and implementing robust recordkeeping standards. • BA degree
• Minimum 7 years in global trade compliance
• Knowledge of U.S. trade laws and U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations
• Familiarity with C-TPAT and other CBP security initiatives
• Understanding of HTS classification and import valuation
