As a General Utility/Dishwasher at TPC Southwind, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and operational efficiency of the culinary and kitchen areas, which is essential for smooth food production and service. The role involves washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, clearing and organizing kitchen spaces, and ensuring all sanitation standards are meticulously followed in compliance with local guidelines. You will assist in storing supplies and grocery items and may support other departments by assisting cooks and the Executive Chef as needed. The position involves responsibilities such as daily upkeep of the dish machine and related equipment to ensure continuous operations without interruptions. Maintaining safety is crucial, including keeping floors and workspaces free of hazards to prevent accidents.
This position does not involve supervisory duties but requires a commitment to teamwork and collaboration with various staff members. The work schedule will vary according to business needs, making flexibility an essential aspect of the role. Although travel is not expected for this position, the physical nature of the work demands regular standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, and the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
