This leadership position is responsible for maximizing the financial performance of the hotel while simultaneously ensuring the delivery of the highest quality guest services and products. The role involves overseeing a broad range of hotel operations from sales and marketing strategies to managing guest satisfaction and maintaining positive relations with ownership and local community stakeholders. As General Manager, you will spearhead efforts to optimize occupancy rates and average room rates by developing, implementing, and monitoring effective sales and marketing plans. Collaborating closely with the hotel’s ownership group, you will strategize and execute growth projects aligned with business objectives. Guest satisfaction remains a core focus; you will coordinate and assist in resolving guest concerns and ensure the overall success of the property. The General Manager works cross-functionally with departments such as the restaurant, spa, maintenance, housekeeping, security, accounting, and human resources to ensure seamless operations and uphold the exceptional standards of the Kimpton brand. Additionally, you will lead talent management activities including interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees across all operating departments, fostering a positive and productive workplace environment.   • 2 to 4 years of upper-level management experience in hospitality
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to encourage, lead and manage a team by example

  • Excellent interpersonal skills both internally and externally
  • Ability to convert vision into specific and tangible actions to benefit the property
