The role of General Manager at an InTown Suites property is pivotal to maintaining the high standards for which the company is known. As the General Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring it is well maintained, financially successful, and staffed by a competent, motivated team. This position entails managing all aspects of the property's functioning, including guest services, employee recruitment and training, financial management, and maintenance oversight. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere that meets the expectations for quality and guest satisfaction. This leadership role demands strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to strategically drive the business forward through effective revenue management and local marketing efforts. The successful candidate will have at least three years of management experience, a strong understanding of hotel operations, and the capability to handle administrative and operational duties efficiently. • High school diploma is preferred, but not required as any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school is considered
• possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a functioning automobile
• ability to read, speak, write and understand English to interact with guests and staff and handle administrative duties
