We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to lead the full operation of our hotel and all associated outlets. The General Manager will oversee every aspect of the hotel's daily operations, including hotel front and back of house, food and beverage services, sales and marketing efforts, engineering, human resources, and accounting. This leadership role is crucial in encouraging a culture of guest service excellence, operational efficiency, and sustainable business growth.
As the primary managerial role responsible for ensuring the hotel meets and exceeds all company standards, the General Manager will work closely with the executive committee and departmental leaders to drive results aligned with the five key drivers identified by the management company. This role also involves strategic planning and execution to achieve budgeted revenues and profitability metrics through effective financial forecasting, profit and loss management, and maximizing revenue per available room (RevPAR).
The ideal candidate will possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related business field, coupled with a minimum of three years of experience managing rooms and/or food and beverage operations. The position requires exemplary communication and leadership skills to foster team motivation and exceptional guest relations. In addition, the General Manager will be skilled at resolving guest complaints promptly and professionally while maintaining exceptional service standards. Our leadership team expects a confident and composed professional who thrives in the fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment, capable of maintaining calm during high-pressure situations and balancing multiple priorities efficiently.
Furthermore, the successful candidate must have a firm grasp of employment laws and regulations, strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to participate in or lead team meetings effectively. Some travel may be required to oversee multiple properties or attend industry events.
