The available General Manager role presents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader to drive the company culture and operational excellence within Boca. The General Manager is responsible for partnering with the Director of Operations and Human Resources to uphold the company’s policies, foster a culture of passion and accountability, and provide consistent, transparent feedback. Leadership at Boca involves hands-on management of restaurant facilities, including scheduling maintenance and vendor services to ensure optimal operation. The role demands strict adherence to federal, state, and local labor, liquor, and food safety laws, ensuring all operational standards meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
A key aspect of this position is the development and motivation of the management team through regular one-on-one meetings, weekly management meetings, and annual performance reviews. The General Manager must also manage scheduling to meet budgetary goals, oversee purchasing and inventory to maintain proper stock levels and timely invoice processing, and analyze financial reports such as profit and loss statements to implement strategies that control costs and drive sales growth. Recruitment and staffing management are critical to maintaining a positive work culture and ensuring all positions are adequately filled with qualified candidates.
This leadership role requires a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests to tailor their BPA experiences, quickly address feedback or concerns, and oversee all financial aspects including inventory, payroll, tip distribution, and cash handling reconciliation. - Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience
- At least 2 years in a General Manager role at a full-service restaurant
- Servsafe certification or equivalent required
- Strong leadership and communication skills
