The role available is a Restaurant Manager position responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations across various locations. Reporting to the Regional Supervisor, Director of Operations, or Owner, the Restaurant Manager plays a crucial role in planning, organizing, staffing, training, and leading the restaurant team to meet and exceed company objectives. This includes managing sales, controlling costs, ensuring employee retention, delivering outstanding guest service, maintaining food quality, and upholding health and safety regulations. The Restaurant Manager must foster a productive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, professional development, and continuous improvement.
In this role, the manager will be tasked with implementing company policies, monitoring compliance with health and safety codes, handling cash and financial transactions, resolving customer complaints, coordinating food preparation and inventory management, and supervising staff schedules and performance. The position demands strong leadership skills to build and develop a motivated team, maintain operational standards, and create an inviting atmosphere, especially during major sporting events like the Super Bowl and playoffs. The manager will also be responsible for marketing initiatives, staff recruitment, equipment maintenance coordination, and regularly reviewing financial reports to identify opportunities for cost savings and enhanced efficiency.
Big City Wings expects the Restaurant Manager to be hands-on when necessary, including performing food preparation or service tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and addressing immediate operational needs. The role often requires working long hours in a fast-paced, standing position and involves physical activities such as lifting, bending, and moving furniture. - High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant management or supervisory role
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Valid food handler and alcohol service certifications

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
