The role of Fundraising Events and Corporate Sponsorship Manager at Corewell Health is a full-time position based at the Beaumont Service Center, responsible for spearheading the organization’s special events and sponsorship programs to facilitate annual fundraising goals. In this role, the manager will coordinate closely with hospital administrators, physicians, and community leaders to create engagement opportunities that enhance the visibility of Corewell Health and support its philanthropic efforts. The position demands effective communication and collaboration with the internal operations team and external stakeholders to track event participation and deliver updated reports on sponsorship activities. The manager is expected to achieve a minimum annual new sponsor revenue target of $100,000 through involvement in various events such as galas, golf tournaments, and society functions.
Key responsibilities include developing comprehensive event plans with defined fundraising objectives, managing volunteer committees, and supporting event staffing to optimize sponsorship success. The role requires designing and implementing marketing and outreach strategies to attract and maintain a portfolio of vendor sponsors. Budget management and coordination with other special events staff are essential to ensure events meet financial goals and align with overall foundation strategies.
Additionally, the manager works in collaboration with major gift officers to create entry-level event sponsorships that serve as pathways for corporations to engage in larger giving initiatives.
