Currently, Proof of the Pudding is seeking motivated and organized individuals to join their team as Front of House Supervisors at the University of Georgia (UGA) in Athens, GA. UGA is a renowned institution located in the heart of Northern Georgia and is famously known for its passionate Bulldogs football team, which draws crowds exceeding 65,000 fans during game days. This seasonal, part-time role is centered around operating and overseeing premium hospitality locations across several UGA venues, including Sanford Stadium (football), Foley Field (baseball), and Stegeman Coliseum (basketball). The position may also extend its support to other venues within the Gwinnett district, offering a diverse and fast-paced work environment tied directly to athletic events. As a Front of House Supervisor, you will act as a key leader and point of contact within various food service areas during events. Your tasks will include ensuring proper and precise setup of tables and buffets according to layouts or sample tables, efficient delegation of duties to team members based on their skills, and managing the overall smooth running of food and beverage service throughout the event. This position requires excellent communication skills as you will be the primary liaison with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded from start to finish. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety standards, and handling physical tasks such as lifting, stocking, and moving food and equipment. The Front of House Supervisor role demands a blend of hands-on operational work and supervisory oversight, requiring a team-oriented mindset as well as the ability to work independently.
