The role of the Front Desk Supervisor (FDS) is a critical position focused on delivering consistent results that support the overall mission and success of each hotel property managed by Arbor Lodging. As the lead support for the Operations Manager in the Front Office, the FDS plays an integral role in assisting with key accounting and human resources functions related to the Front Desk. This role is specialized in training, supervising, and scheduling the front desk team to maintain seamless operations and excellent guest interactions. Additionally, the Front Desk Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for the Front Desk technology systems, ensuring staff are proficient in the latest property management software and technology used for reservations and guest services.
Another important responsibility of the FDS is managing in-house guest marketing initiatives, which help promote hotel services and enhance guest experiences. In situations where the General Manager or Operations Manager is not available, the Front Desk Supervisor represents the hotel, maintaining high standards of professionalism and guest engagement. The FDS also actively functions as a Guest Service Agent, handling direct guest interactions and supporting smooth front desk activities.
The position requires a leader who is well-versed in front desk operations, has strong organizational skills, and exhibits a commitment to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.                 - High school diploma or equivalent
 - Two years of previous hotel front desk experience
 - Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English
 - Professional verbal and written communication skills
 - Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems
 - Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
 - Ability to frequently stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility
 - Ability to carry, lift or pull items up to 50 pounds
