The Licensed Customs Broker role at Epiroc is a remote position within the North American Supply Chain Organization focused on ensuring compliance with trade regulations and legal requirements governing US imports and exports. This position plays a critical role in maintaining adherence to complex international trade laws by managing tariffs, validating dual use regulations, coordinating customs documentation, and supporting trade compliance audits. The Licensed Customs Broker is essential in safeguarding company operations from compliance risks while facilitating efficient customs processes. With an emphasis on collaboration across multiple company departments and external regulatory bodies, candidates in this role must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, methodical thinking, and effective communication skills.
The role mandates a highly knowledgeable professional versed in Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), US customs systems like ACE and AES, and various regulatory programs such as USMCA. - US Customs Broker License required
- 5-10 years experience in international trade compliance or customs brokerage
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
