The role of Freight Forwarder, Air Export, based in the USA at the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport in Grapevine on Esters Boulevard, is an integral part of the Air & Sea division at DSV. This full-time position is focused on managing and coordinating the exportation of goods by air. The Freight Forwarder is tasked with the responsibility of scheduling shipments with airlines and ensuring the smooth transit of goods through various transportation channels. This includes the preparation and processing of all necessary documentation for customs clearance, such as commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading. Working closely with customers and third-party service providers, the Freight Forwarder provides regular shipment updates and addresses any questions or concerns. The role demands exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with relevant customs regulations and trade laws. Additionally, the Freight Forwarder will collaborate with internal departments like logistics, finance, and operations to guarantee timely and efficient service delivery. The expected base pay ranges from $22.25 to $30.25 per hour, with compensation determined based on an individual’s experience, skills, and knowledge.
