As a Barista at Aramark, you will be an integral part of delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing specialty coffee drinks, assisting with food preparation, and managing customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism. In this role, you will work closely with team members to ensure adherence to brand standards while maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace. The Barista position requires multitasking skills, the ability to anticipate customer needs, and a commitment to delivering service that delights every guest. Responsibilities include accurately operating registers and POS systems, handling cash and credit card transactions, preparing and serving both beverages and food items, and maintaining inventory and stock. You will also be responsible for following strict health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff. Beyond routine duties, this role may involve setup and breakdown of the coffee bar and store, stocking of service ware and condiments, and additional tasks as assigned by management. Aramark values employees who can work independently with limited supervision while embracing teamwork. Successful candidates will have basic math skills, the ability to read and follow recipes, and must comply with dress codes and food handling certifications when required. This role can involve physical activity such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking or standing and may require wearing a uniform and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• previous customer service experience preferred
• previous cash handling experience preferred
• basic math and counting skills required
• ability to work independently with limited supervision
• must follow required dress code as assigned
• ability to read and communicate in English
• completion of Food Handling Certification
• able to perform physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and prolonged standing or walking
• willingness to wear uniform and use Personal Protective Equipment
