We are currently looking for dedicated hospitality professionals to join our extraordinary team, specifically for the role focused on overseeing our pastry department. This pivotal role involves responsibility for the production and quality control of all bakery and dessert items within the hotel, managing everything from the daily pastries to elegant wedding cakes for special events. The ideal candidate will be involved in every aspect of the pastry operations, including interviewing, hiring,, training, and counseling pastry associates while working closely with Human Resources and the executive culinary team.
This position also entails scheduling production work, controlling food costs and payroll related to the pastry department, and coordinating the purchase of necessary supplies. The candidate will ensure the timely production of baked goods and desserts for various hotel outlets, catering to both regular and special requests. Additionally, this role requires execution of VIP amenities and lobby activations that enhance the overall guest experience. The job demands a balance of creative baking skills and strong managerial abilities, making it a highly rewarding position for those who excel in hospitality management and culinary arts.
