The Dishwasher position at the Luskin Conference Center is a vital role within the kitchen operations of Plateia, the on-site restaurant. This role ensures the proper cleaning and sanitation of dishware, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial kitchen equipment to maintain high hygiene standards and efficient kitchen workflow. Beyond standard dishwashing duties, the Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen itself, including ovens, grills, refrigerators, and freezers. The incumbent also manages the disposal of garbage and supports deep cleaning tasks that contribute to a safe and orderly kitchen environment. Additionally, the role involves assisting kitchen staff with receiving and storing deliveries from vendors, thus contributing to the smooth operational flow of the restaurant.
