The Food Services Department at WWAARC currently seeks a dedicated and experienced Food Services Manager for a full-time, exempt position with a salary of $60,405.80 per year. This position entails managing all operational aspects of the Food Service Department and the Krumkill Café, which serves a vital role within the organization. The Food Services Manager will work a Monday to Friday schedule, though hours may vary depending on the program’s needs, with occasional evenings and weekends required. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of food service operations, maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
In this leadership role, the Food Services Manager is responsible for directing daily activities, supervising staff, managing supplies and inventory, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and fostering a team-oriented environment. Candidates for this role should possess strong management and organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative spirit to contribute positively to the team. Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in food service management, restaurant service, or a related field, or an associate degree paired with at least two years of food service management experience. Supervisory experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license meeting WWAARC insurability standards is required, and candidates must be at least 18 years old.
