The Food Service Worker I role at the Santa Maria-Bonita School District offers a full-time position located at the Libbon site (#4992) with an hourly pay range between $19.03 and $24.51. This role encompasses a 180-day work year, operating between 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM daily. As a Food Service Worker I, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary food service environment under the supervision of an assigned manager. Your responsibilities will include assisting in food preparation, setting up food service lines, serving food to students and staff, cleaning food service equipment, and managing food supplies by loading, unloading, and rotating stock.
The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will possess a cooperative attitude, willingness to engage with students, and the capacity to follow both oral and written instructions effectively.
