The Food Service Worker role at Aramark is a vital position within the organization’s food service team. This position is primarily responsible for assisting the manager with food and meal preparation while maintaining accurate cash receipts and meal records. The Food Service Worker also supports the manager in completing daily reports and ensures high-quality standards in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices. Working within a fast-paced environment, this role requires individuals to adhere to established food safety regulations, handle kitchen equipment with care, and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the food preparation areas. Responsibilities include preparing quality food items and baked goods according to planned menus, verifying daily transactions, storing food correctly in sanitary conditions, and serving food following department policies and scheduled meal times. The position also entails coordinating major cleaning tasks of kitchen refrigerators, freezers, and equipment, as well as consistent communication with the manager to ensure accurate preparation of daily menus. Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking or standing, alongside the use of personal protective equipment and uniforms.
