The Food Service Worker role within YMCA of the Rockies plays an essential part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. This position involves a blend of duties requiring flexibility and a commitment to maintaining high sanitation and service standards. Employees in this role rotate through various tasks including meal preparation assistance, operation of commercial kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, slicers, and mixers, maintaining fully stocked service lines, cleaning dining spaces and bathrooms, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. The role demands physical stamina including the ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors and the capability to lift up to 35 pounds.
