The Food & Nutrition Services General Worker is responsible for skilled work in preparing and serving nutritionally adequate meals that adhere to production deadlines. This includes following detailed food preparation processes, operating food service equipment safely, and ensuring all meal offerings meet approved meal pattern requirements. The worker plays an essential role in both food production and service phases, including pre-preparation, food production, meal service, and clean-up duties. Additionally, this role involves managing inventory procedures such as ordering, storage, and checking-in supplies and food items. It demands adherence to strict food safety protocols, including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP). Thus, the worker must maintain a safe and sanitary work environment at all times and comply with personal hygiene and grooming standards. Customer service is a core aspect of this position; the worker interacts daily with students, parents, food service staff, and school personnel, requiring professionalism, good judgment, and clear communication. • Prior food service or cashier work experience
