We are currently seeking a results-driven, vision-oriented, and operations-focused Executive Chef to join the leadership team. This pivotal role reports directly to the Director of Hospitality (General Manager) with a dotted line to the Chief Culinary Officer. The Executive Chef will be instrumental in developing and executing culinary solutions designed to meet and exceed customer tastes and nutrition requirements, contributing significantly to customer satisfaction and fostering long-term, thriving customer relationships.
The Executive Chef position combines culinary expertise with executive management skills to ensure that all culinary experiences inspire and delight customers while consistently meeting the highest standards of quality, innovation, and satisfaction. This leadership role involves the oversight of menu planning and execution, kitchen operations, food preparation and service, financial performance, inventory management, collaboration and communication, client relationships, supply chain management, training and compliance, and additional kitchen leadership duties.
Key aspects of the role include designing well-balanced, flavorful menus tailored to patient dietary needs; maintaining quality control through effective supervision and management of kitchen staff; ensuring adherence to health and safety standards; delivering meals that are consistent in quality and presentation; managing food and labor costs to meet performance targets; maintaining inventory and procurement processes; fostering a collaborative team environment; and building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
The Executive Chef will also play a critical role in training and mentoring culinary staff, leading team meetings and daily operational huddles, and spearheading innovative sourcing strategies aligned with organizational values. This role requires a deep understanding of culinary trends, operational procedures, compliance regulations, and leadership best practices.
Candidates for this position should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, exceptional culinary skills, effective communication, adaptability, and a passion for community and sustainability. Physical stamina is necessary due to the demands of kitchen work, with the ability to stand for long periods, work in hot environments, and lift heavy items. Periodic travel may be required to support broader organizational initiatives and training efforts.

- Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience with 3 years' experience in a management or leadership role
