The role of Food Server at The Village management staff embraces this same commitment to service and quality. As a Food Server, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the dining experience for residents by delivering fast, efficient, and friendly service. Your responsibilities include greeting residents, taking their orders accurately, and serving drinks, appetizers, entrees, and desserts with enthusiasm and professionalism. You will ensure that tables are kept clean and properly reset after each meal with fresh linens, silverware, and china to maintain the highest standard of dining hygiene and presentation. The Food Server will also perform daily side work to support the smooth operation of the dining area. Beyond the technical duties, this position requires an attentive and compassionate approach, regularly checking on residents during their meals to confirm their satisfaction and address any needs promptly. Teamwork is highly valued, as Food Servers are expected to assist in pantry, hostess, or expo duties when needed and to contribute positively to the overall success of the dining services team. The Village emphasizes professionalism, which includes maintaining focus on residents during service hours and ensuring the dining area is always in excellent condition before and after serving time. Time management is also critical, as all tasks must be completed efficiently and on schedule. The Village offers competitive wages starting at $17.10 per hour for this position.
