The Food & Beverage Expert position within Target’s Food & Beverage team is crucial to sustaining the consistent and exceptional in-store experience that Target guests expect. This role ensures that food products are fresh, properly stocked, accurately priced, and appealingly presented across all food and beverage departments. The Food & Beverage team embodies expertise in operational processes and efficiency, managing everything from inventory accuracy and replenishment to compliance with food safety standards and merchandising best practices. The expert is responsible for executing multiple tasks daily including food delivery processing, product rotation, signing promotional material, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and backroom. Working as a Food & Beverage Expert provides valuable opportunities to develop skills in customer service, food safety, inventory management, and sales techniques such as suggestive selling and product sampling. The role requires a guest-first mindset with flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. • Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery only)
• previous food or grocery experience preferred but not required
