The individual will be responsible for handling and disposing of both contaminated (bio-hazardous) and non-contaminated trash safely from the point of origin to the disposal site, ensuring compliance with infection control standards. The position also involves setting up various rooms for meetings and classes, adhering to specifications related to location and group size. The employee supports routine housekeeping tasks as needed, contributing to the overall cleanliness and ambience of the organization. In addition to physical stamina and manual dexterity, this role demands the ability to operate mechanical and manual transmission vehicles, necessitating a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
• Must have current class "C" driver's license (State of Texas)
• Must be capable of driving a manual transmission vehicle
• Must remain insurable under liability insurance policy with no moving violations
• Must possess manual dexterity to safely operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to exert force of 50-100 pounds occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently
• Must be able to withstand significant amount of standing, pushing, pulling, carrying, lifting, and walking
