The Aircraft Fueler and Service Technician role at LNAA is a critical position focused on delivering ground support services that ensure safe and efficient aircraft operations at the airport. This role involves providing aircraft fueling services, lavatory and water servicing, towing, and marshalling for various types of aircraft including private, corporate, cargo, and charter flights. The position requires the coordination and direction of ramp movements for arriving and departing flights to ensure smooth and safe aircraft turnaround. In addition to fueling, the technician will operate ground service equipment such as tugs, fuel trucks, and transportation vehicles, contributing significantly to the overall ground operation efficiency. The role demands a strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance, as the technician must complete periodic training and pass all required tests. Beyond fueling, this position includes assisting passengers and flight crews with baggage handling, catering services, cargo management, ground power service, and forklift operations. The technician will also provide escort services for fuel deliveries and participate in snow removal duties which are essential to maintaining airport operations during adverse weather conditions. This position requires light janitorial duties and performing tasks as directed by supervisors, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and versatility.
