Farah & Farah is currently seeking a highly professional, organized, and outgoing Receptionist to join their winning team. The Receptionist plays a crucial role as the first point of contact for everyone interacting with the firm, including clients, guests, and staff. This role demands a polished and welcoming professional appearance along with a positive attitude. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of office activities to ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of this bustling legal environment. This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, and is based in an onsite office setting. The Receptionist at Farah & Farah is entrusted with representing the firm’s professionalism and commitment to client care. They will greet visitors warmly, determine their business purpose, and direct them to the appropriate personnel. Managing incoming telephone calls efficiently, taking messages, and forwarding calls are key elements of this role, alongside scheduling meetings, travel plans, and reserving conference rooms for attorneys, clients, and vendors. Furthermore, the Receptionist will assist legal teams with clerical duties such as faxing, copying, and organizing files. Keeping the office environment running smoothly, including managing mail distribution, handling faxes, and maintaining voicemail messages, is also a vital responsibility. This position demands outstanding time-management, typing, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting. The Receptionist must possess a strong sense of confidentiality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact comfortably with individuals at all levels of the firm – from clients to senior management. Familiarity with office equipment and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications like Outlook, Word, and Excel are necessary to support the daily operations efficiently.
