This Food and Beverage Manager position at Mt. Bachelor plays a critical role in managing day-to-day operations within the resort's food and beverage outlets. The role involves not only operational management but also hands-on leadership to develop, train, and supervise staff to meet the high service standards expected at the resort. The manager supports the daily business operations by reviewing and completing reports such as daily sales, variance, inventory, budget adherence, and goals. Collaboration is key, as this role assists with special events and functions, maintains open communication with both staff and management, and actively promotes employee engagement to enhance workplace culture and team motivation. The Food and Beverage Manager will also ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations concerning liquor licensing, employment laws, and sanitation standards. The position involves financial responsibilities such as cash handling, inventory control, cost management, and contributing to revenue enhancement initiatives. Engaging with vendors, staying knowledgeable about food trends, and attending leadership meetings and training sessions are pivotal aspects of this role. Supervisory responsibilities include managing a team of 25-50 staff members including both front-of-house and back-of-house personnel.   • Minimum high school education
  • At least 2 years experience in food and beverage or hospitality management
  • OLCC certification and valid Oregon Food Handler's Card
  • Ability to stand for 6 or more hours and perform repetitive arm and wrist motions
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends holidays and evenings
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
