We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Cooking Supervisor to join our dietary department. This role involves a variety of tasks that require proficient cooking skills, leadership, and organizational abilities in the preparation, service, and cleanup of meals. The Cooking Supervisor will oversee the entire meal service process, ensuring that nutrition standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements are consistently met. This position plays a crucial role in managing dietary aides, cooks, and the overall meal service team to provide timely and high-quality meals to patients and staff. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with food service operations, strong communication skills, and a passion for fostering a collaborative team environment.
The Cooking Supervisor is responsible for planning and executing meal services efficiently and professionally, maintaining compliance with center menus and established procedures. The role demands attention to detail in preparing meals and snacks according to nutrition guidelines, as well as supervising the dietary team to uphold service standards. Additionally, the supervisor will manage the hiring, training, and scheduling of team members, ensuring adequate staffing and a motivated workforce.
