The role of Executive Chef at Bottega Louie is a critical leadership position central to maintaining and elevating the high standards of the kitchen and guest dining experience. The Executive Chef will be responsible for training and coaching kitchen staff to adhere strictly to recipe specifications, correcting performance issues, and enforcing proper cooking techniques. Overseeing every aspect of kitchen operations, the Executive Chef manages kitchen labor, controls overtime and payroll, and maintains inventory pars to minimize waste while ensuring product availability. Equipment maintenance, kitchen cleanliness, and adherence to sanitation protocols are rigorously upheld each shift. The role also requires financial acumen to analyze data, build budgets, and craft long-term strategies aimed at enhancing the guest experience, improving efficiencies, and increasing profitability. Collaboration with the General Manager is essential to achieving financial goals and maintaining excellence.
This position demands an Executive Chef who upholds professional appearance and grooming standards and ensures the same from all kitchen staff. Compensation for the Executive Chef position includes a $100,000 base salary plus a quarterly discretionary bonus based on net income, with an annual potential bonus of up to $60,000.
