Arlo Hotels is actively seeking a seasoned Executive Chef to lead its culinary operations at Arlo Wynwood. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate culinary professional who is driven by purpose and innovation and adept at managing teams in high-volume, upscale environments. The Executive Chef will oversee all food outlets within the hotel, including the restaurant, lobby bar, rooftop, banquets, and the general store, ensuring that all culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include managing kitchen operations, maintaining food and labor costs, training and mentoring staff, and communicating effectively with hotel management and suppliers to optimize procurement and pricing.
The role demands a visionary leader who can inspire a team, uphold an excellent guest experience, and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. This position requires extensive experience in upscale restaurant or hotel kitchen management, strong knife and butchery skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and thorough knowledge of Florida Department of Health codes. The Executive Chef will be instrumental in curating a menu that reflects seasonal and local influences while maintaining cost efficiencies.
