This position carries a competitive annual salary ranging from $94,100 to $127,000, with additional earning potential through an annual performance bonus or an uncapped sales incentive plan based on individual, company, and location performance. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations including recipe development, portion control, purchasing, inventory management, food and labor cost control, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Financial acumen is essential as you manage profit and loss statements, budgeting, and scheduling to maintain operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess over a decade of culinary experience with at least five years as an Executive Chef in a high-volume, fine dining, or luxury hospitality setting, with a strong emphasis on authentic Italian cuisine. A Culinary Arts degree or certification is preferred, alongside required certifications in ServSafe and Food Safety Handling. Proficiency in financial management tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and POS systems is critical. Beyond technical skills, the role demands proven leadership abilities to coach and mentor the culinary team effectively, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and career development. Flexibility in work schedule is required to meet the demands of this dynamic, high-profile restaurant environment.
