The Executive Chef role at Morrison Healthcare, located in Mobile, AL, presents a unique and dynamic opportunity for culinary professionals seeking to lead and innovate in an acute care setting. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $75,000 annually, reflecting the significant responsibility and expertise required. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring meals are prepared following corporate guidelines while maintaining a safe, sanitary, and efficient work environment. Responsibilities are broad and impactful, encompassing menu planning, staff training, inventory management, quality assurance, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This role demands an energetic and entrepreneurial culinary leader capable of managing complex foodservice operations in a high-volume healthcare setting. Success in this position involves blending culinary expertise with a deep understanding of institutional foodservice demands, including batch cooking, catering, and food cost controls.                 - A.S. degree or equivalent culinary experience
 - three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
 - knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
 - experience with inventory management
 - hands-on experience as a chef
 - computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
 - ability to comply with health and safety regulations
 - ServSafe certification preferred
 - ability to lead and train kitchen staff
 - excellent organizational and communication skills
