The Executive Chef role is a pivotal leadership position within our organization. The primary goal of the Executive Chef is to exceed company financial targets while fostering a positive and productive work environment. The Executive Chef oversees daily restaurant functions through effective delegation and the development of culinary managers and their teams. Success in this role means being a culinary visionary who directs and trusts their team to maintain recipe standards, adhere to rigorous cleanliness protocols, and complete all necessary prep work. Being an expert in inventory management is crucial to this position, as the Executive Chef will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy in all areas including sales, expenses, and inventory control. Additionally, the Executive Chef acts as a mentor and leader, guiding the team to develop their skills and build trust-based relationships that drive outstanding results. Staffing shifts with high-performing team members, communicating individual development pathways, and documenting accountability are also critical aspects of this role.   • 1 year of full-service restaurant kitchen manager experience or 3-5 years of service industry management experience
  • internal candidates must be in good standing and free of performance issues within a 1-year timeframe

  • state food handler's management certification
