The Executive Chef role at Thompson Hotels is pivotal in ensuring the success of daily kitchen operations while exemplifying culinary artistry and leadership. This position holds full accountability for directing all food preparation areas, including banquets, in-room dining, restaurants, bars, lounges, and colleague cafeterias, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. The Executive Chef leads the kitchen management team, offering guidance, mentorship, and coaching to staff to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction. This role also involves collaboration with various hotel departments, particularly events, sales, and banquet teams, to enhance menu offerings and deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
As a steward of culinary innovation and excellence, the Executive Chef at Thompson Hotels is responsible for developing new menu items, costing recipes, and integrating contemporary culinary trends while maintaining budget controls and operational efficiencies.                 - Bachelor’s degree preferred
 - Minimum 6 years of culinary management experience in luxury or high volume hotels
 - At least 4 years in a senior culinary leadership role
 - Strong knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
 - Experience with budgeting and cost control
 - Excellent communication and leadership skills
 - Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
 - Strong organizational skills
