The role of Executive Chef at Atria Senior Living is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations and dining services within the community. The Executive Chef plays a vital role in ensuring that residents' culinary tastes and preferences are met with exceptional hospitality and high-quality dining experiences. This full-time position offers a salary range from $97,000 to $116,400 annually, based on prior work history and experience, emphasizing the importance Atria places on attracting skilled professionals committed to excellence in culinary operations. Executive Chefs at Atria are entrusted with managing a team of kitchen and dining staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management, while maintaining staffing schedules that optimize operational efficiency. They are responsible for budget management, including monitoring food, supply, and labor expenses, and ensuring purchasing standards are upheld through strong vendor relationships. - High school diploma or general education degree
- Five or more years culinary experience in the hospitality industry
- Culinary arts degree and/or chef certification strongly preferred
- Food handlers permit as required by applicable law and/or company standards
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and working in a team setting
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Adherence to company appearance and dress code policies
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to perform driving responsibilities using company-provided or personal vehicle
