The Executive Chef position aboard American Cruise Lines is an extraordinary opportunity to combine a passion for culinary excellence with a love for travel. Employment aboard American Cruise Lines operates on a seasonal basis, with the 2025 cruising season offering a chance to live and work on luxury vessels for 6-8 weeks at a time before enjoying 1-2 weeks of unpaid vacation. Travel to and from assigned ships is paid, and accommodations are provided along with uniforms and paid training. The position demands a hands-on, collaborative, and detail-oriented approach to kitchen leadership, with strong communication and training skills vital for success. Certified knowledge in food safety and kitchen best practices is essential, and having ServSafe Manager Certification is strongly preferred.
