The Executive Chef 3 position at Merrimack College in North Andover, Massachusetts, represents a unique opportunity to lead culinary operations in a dynamic campus environment. This full-time role requires a passionate and hands-on culinary leader who excels in innovation, collaboration, and team development. As the culinary leader for the entire campus, the Executive Chef 3 will oversee all kitchen operations across various dining platforms, including resident dining, retail food outlets, catering services, and athletic concessions. The goal is to provide nutritious, high-quality meals that enhance the student experience while maintaining consistent standards across branded and in-house retail concepts. This role places a strong emphasis on mentorship, operational excellence, and guest engagement. The ideal candidate will be actively involved on the floor, guiding and inspiring the culinary team while working closely with front-of-house staff and campus leadership. Responsibilities include developing seasonal and trend-driven menus that meet diverse student dietary needs, maintaining stringent food safety and sanitation standards, and driving operational efficiency and innovation. Collaboration with the Executive Catering Chef and other stakeholders is critical to delivering exceptional culinary experiences for events ranging from small groups to major campus occasions.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years management experience
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
