The Event Coordinator role at the Michaels store in Jackson-Flowood, MS is designed for individuals with a passion for creativity, customer engagement, and delivering memorable experiences. This position involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating events within the store, including children’s birthday parties, craft classes, and other creative gatherings. The Event Coordinator will maintain store cleanliness before, during, and after events, support inventory and safety programs, and assist with omnichannel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS). The role demands physical activity such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting heavy boxes, and working with ladders or similar equipment.
