The Phoenix Convention Center is currently seeking a committed and proactive professional to join their team as an Event Services Lead. This full-time, regular position plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of various events held at the center and surrounding venues. As an Event Services Lead, you will be responsible for directing and working alongside a team consisting of part-time, temporary, and Event Service Workers. These workers perform a variety of manual tasks such as event setup and teardown, custodial duties, and other essential support functions that ensure events run seamlessly. Your leadership and coordination will be crucial to managing workflows effectively, maintaining high standards of service, and fulfilling client and public expectations. In this role, you will have frequent public contact, and your ability to assign and supervise work, participate actively in ongoing tasks, and inspect completed work will directly impact the success of the events and the satisfaction of clients. Working under the guidance of the Event Services Supervisor, the position demands a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the capability to adapt to irregular work hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, which are often necessary for event setups.   • Two years of related experience
